Provide support to the project manager in monitoring the financial performance of the project. Coordinate administrative aspects of projects, which may include such areas as: budgeting, scheduling, month-end processing, project accounting, reporting, cash management and participates in monthly proactive project reviews. Advanced level professional that is responsible for performing project administrative tasks as outlined in the PA II role but also works on larger more complex project assignments in support of project management.Reviews work of other project analyst team members for accuracy and completeness. Provide oversight and mentoring to less experienced project administratorsMay act in a team lead capacity in the absence of the manager.Possess strong leadership skills and has ability to work with people to develop action plans, develop alternatives to resolve problems and negotiate matters on behalf of HNTB.Understand the impact of project reporting on the accrual financial statements and can prepare reserve and project loss analysis.Serve as primary point of contact for problem resolution from less experienced project administrators.Assist in firm wide training of project management tools, project administration training, and project management processes and will travel to other offices to consult on best practices.This position would be considered an expert in their field as it relates to contracting, project management administration, project accounting, and overhead rates and is looked upon as the most knowledgeable in project administration/management.Possess skills and understanding of the A/E industry and project management to be able to run monthly project review and may advise client and project mangers on issues.Performs complex project analysis to arrive at desired conclusion. This may include items such as project/client profitability analysis, project loss analysis, and reconciliation of project information, evaluation of design, project and field office alternatives.Would have significant interaction with clients and sub-consultants on project matters and would be able to give instruction and direction to meet project goals along with coordinating significant efforts to meet project deadlines.Involved in project/client negotiations and provides guidance on strategies to negotiate fee, overhead and profit.Helps develop office/division and firm wide project standards and procedures in relationship project management processes to achieve 4 for 4 performance and best business practices.Leads special project administration assignments on behalf of the office or division.QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business, plus 5-8 years related experience or if no degree, would expect 8-10 years of related experience.The HNTB Companies are an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/V/DAs a condition of employment with The HNTB Companies, you must be able to provide documentation of your eligibility to work in the United States in accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
