Job Description/Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Project Architect with a minimum of 10 years experience. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient, design sensitive and has excellent organizational and communications skills. The Project Architect should possess the ability to work as an integral part of a project team, ensuring the translation of design intent into construction documentation.

Position Responsibilities: Lead entire team in design phase of project on items relating to technology, code and government issues, constructability and practicality issues and client relations and contract requirementsAssist design team in design development of project by bringing technical input to effort of achieving desired designChampion the project's design intent by providing technical leadership through both design development and construction documentation to assure delivery of accurate, detailed, and coordinated project documentationDirect design and coordinate technical documentation amongst disciplines and with sub-consultantsDeliver complete, accurate and coordinated project plans, specifications and construction documents within the time and budget parametersRepresent firm and lead the consultants in the coordination effortRepresent firm in field visitation, construction phase meetings. Visit site to observe constructionReview all submissions for technical competence, compliance with design intent, general coordination of other means of work and compliance with all applicable laws and ordinances Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters in Architecture from an accredited institution7+ years of experienceAutoCAD proficiency, REVIT experience a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills
