General Description:
Responsible for the successful planning of multiple architectural related projects.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the planning segment of Healthcare facilities such as acute and non-acute, in and out-patient; and hospitals project. This is not a P.M. or P.A. position.

• The Healthcare Planner role consists of working directly with the Owners and Clients of the healthcare studio after projects have been won and discussing the needs and desires of the client. This individual would be meeting with clients on a weekly basis to formulate a plan for conceptual design, space layout, and coordination of Healthcare equipment.

The right individual for this Healthcare Planner role has 10-15 years of experience. They need to be an excellent communicator as there will be heavy interaction with the clients of the Health care studio, so knowledge of healthcare equipment, hospital health requirements, and experience working with Healthcare professionals is also essential. The ability for this Healthcare Planner to lead and manage CAD techs and interns in a constructive way is important as well. A working knowledge of the construction document process would be ideal, but is not necessary.

• Must be willing to be a part of a team interested in leading the industry in state-of-the-art solutions for healthcare facilities.

Qualifications / ExperienceRequirements
• Healthcare project planning experience. Minimum 5-years.
• Strong computer and written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Good familiarity with OSHPD
• Experience in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, and Excel experience is preferred.

Education:
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- Architectural License preferred, not required .
