JOB TITLE: Project Architect – K-12 & Higher Education

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A renowned architectural firm is seeking a talented Project Architect specializing in K-12 and/or Higher Education projects to join their team.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Promote designs that are contextual, innovative, and respond to our clients needs with insight and innovation.

·  The position will include working in collaborative teams, mentoring junior staff, coordinating the work of consultants, and working together with clients, contractors and regulating agencies

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·  BA degree

·  10+ years experience with K-12 and/or Higher Education projects

·  3+ years recent experience with K-12 and/or Higher Education projects

·  Candidates must be proactive, motivated, and experienced in working directly with clients.

·  Clear understanding of construction processes and detailing are very important.

·  The ability to research codes, building products and systems, and solve design problems is essential.
