Project Manager/Senior Mechanical Engineer

A full service engineering firm that specializes in high-performance design is looking for a Project Manager/Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities will include:Managing mechanical and multi-discipline projects by satisfying client needs and by meeting budget expectations and project schedules.Interacting with clients to identify their requirements, define project scope, and prepare project proposals.Preparing mechanical engineering designs for HVAC and hydronic systems.Providing support during construction phases.This position needs a Project Manager with strong interpersonal skills; experience in maintaining strong client relationships; and effective verbal and written communication skills. In addition, Candidates must have the following qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Current registration as a Mechanical Engineer.A minimum of 15 years of experience including recent experience working for a consulting engineering or engineering/architectural firm designing mechanical systems for facilities and buildings.The ability to motivate multi-discipline project teams in meeting client needs in a timely manner and meeting budget objectives.Experience using a computer, preferably with MS Word, Excel, and Project.This is a full time position located in Long Beach. The salary is commensurate with experience and includes an excellent benefits package.
