Willdan, an engineering and planning firm serving public agencies, has an opening for a Project Manager in our Anaheim, California office for our Transportation Services Division.

 

The qualified individual will be responsible for managing the design and preparation of construction PS&E for a variety of public works and transportation projects throughout Southern California.  The position requirements include managing multi-discipline projects and providing supervision and training of junior engineers for growth and promotion.  The individual will also assist in business development, proposal preparation and interviews.  The Project Manager will also monitor project quality, schedule and budgets. A proven track record of managing the engineering of highway and roadway projects in southern California is a plus.  The individual should be familiar with Caltrans design requirements and standards.

 

Typical duties involve managing the design of highways, roadways, drainage, sewer, and waterline improvements.  Other duties include budgeting, scheduling, and preparing project special provisions.

 

Requirements for this position include:B.S. in Civil Engineering.California PE5 – 10 years public works and/or transportation design and management experienceDemonstrated leadership, project management, and client relations skills
