Project/Program Manager - NJ Office

Responsibilities: Bottom Line responsibility for the Profit and Loss of all phases of the project.Lead, manage, and coordinate all project steps from receipt of RFQ through successful project execution (Including all Engineering, Procurement and Construction: EPC)Prepare preliminary budget, execution plan, and schedule to be used as a basis for Bid/No-Bid. Gain team consensus as to Bid/No-Bid on RFQDevelop/maintain/forecast: BudgetDevelop/maintain/forecast: EPC Execution PlanDevelop/maintain/forecast: ScheduleEnsure all client and corporate status reporting is performed in a accurate, timely manner.Primary contact with customer on contractual, technical and coordination issuesEnsure that design is reviewed (by client, construction team, etc.) at pre-determined milestonesEnsure design is issued in a timely, technically compliant manner Ensure that Constructability best practices are infused and integrated into final design documentation.Ensure that all procured and/or manufactured project materials are purchased in a timely, technically compliant, fair and competitive manner. Lead, manage and coordinate all site activities.Ensure all site activities are performed in a safe, clean, organized, and quality conscious mannerFoment a project culture that meets all WWAT stated goals and objectivesDevelop subcontractor work scope and bid packagesSelect and pre-qualify potential subcontractor biddersEnsure fair and competitive bidding processEnsure subcontractors meet all contractual requirementsApprove all requests for payment by all subcontractors and suppliersBusiness relationship development. Ensure decisions are made and project is executed in a manner that consistently supports WWAT’s bottom line interests.

Candidate must be able to demonstrate outstanding capabilities in: Strong computer skills in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Power Point)Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong Leadership and Management skillsExperience writing statement of work scopeExperience with Primavera and/or Microsoft PlannerCollaborative techniques and interpersonal capabilitiesUnderstanding and experience with integrated Engineering, Procurement, and Construction project delivery for the light to heavy industrial market sector.Understanding of Construction Management process  Significant travel and/or non-standard working hours may be required.
