Range & Training Land Assessment Coordinator

Company Overview:

Responsibilities:

·         Manage and administer Range and Training Land Assessment (RTLA) activities necessary to inventory and monitor training land resources, to include the development, upkeep/maintenance and annual implementation of the RTLA Plan. 

·         Use RTLA Plan assessments as key performance measures when managing training and testing land to promote training sustainment and meet mission needs. 

·         Coordinate fieldwork and data collection.  Responsible for integrating RTLA and Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) practices.

·         Monitor and oversee the performance of field crews, and coordinating the acquisition of materials and equipment. 

·         Provide technical support to the installation staff by preparing and presenting briefings, conducting meetings, providing technical expertise to prepare scopes of work and preparing documents to support senior management decisions. 

·         Coordinate the management, collections and analysis of RTLA data with external clients. 

·         Provide input on the Integrated Natural Resource Management Plan (INRMP) and recommend courses of action. 

Education & Experience Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Physical Science preferred with emphasis in natural resources, natural resource management and environmental science and experience in land, soil science, Conservation Resource Analysis, Environmental Simulation and Impact Analysis Ecology/Applied Ecology Biology.

·         Minimum 4-8 years of applicable experience
