Rendering Developer/Engineer

 


AutoDesSys, Inc. isseeking a software developer/engineer with expertise in rendering technologies to join the formZ development team. This person will be responsible for the design, implementation and enhancement of the rendering and visualization capabilities of formZ.

  

Requirements:

 

Consideration will begiven to a variety of education and professional backgrounds including Computer Science, Engineering, CAD, Industrial Design, or Mathematics:

 

• Minimum 3 yearsexperience in the implementation of rendering solutions.

• Experience with industry standard rending engines such as OpenGL, Direct 3D, Lightworks, rendermanor mental ray.

• The ability to apply rendering knowledge to achieve visually pleasing results.

• A solid understanding of rendering algorithms, implementations and methods.

• A MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Design or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with animation techniques.

• Good in verbal and written communication in English.

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

• Ability to work cooperatively with a team of developers.

• Knowledgeable in C/C++ development tools on Windows and/or OS X Skills.

 

Additional useful experiences:

 

• Experience with industry standard CAD libraries such as ACIS andParasolid.

• Experience with 3D applications tools such as formZ, SolidWorks, Pro-E, Maya or 3D studio.

• Experience withthe design process and 3D design skills.
