Description

Rhodes Architectural Stone (RAS) is a provider of dimensional newly quarried and reclaimed antique stone for small to large residential, historic and commercial projects. Their unique and hand-crafted building products provide the building community with a combination of expertise in traditional European masonry design and hand-carved, yet affordable, custom stone products. Rhodes Architectural Stone provides its clients with full design, drafting and consulting services while successfully providing access to wonderful stone supplies from around the world.

The Sales Assistant position’s primary function is to facilitate sales (bookings) for RAS east coast sales consultants (ASSCs) and ensure client satisfaction.  The position performs critical liaison tasks between client’s and ASSCs, ASSCs and RAS (head office in Seattle), and RAS to clients. The Sales Assistant functions to develop, prospect, sell, and increase the Client referral and repeat business for RAS within the NY tri-state area. The Sales Assistant will deliver timely remedies and solve problems to align and fulfill Client and RAS contractual terms and expectations.   

 

Skill and Knowledge

· 1-3 years experience in sales; preferably in architectural design work, construction, technical sales, or a related area

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Good computer skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite

· Strong mathematical skills.

· Outstanding interpersonal communication skills

· Extremely organized; multi-tasks with ease

· Strong attention to detail

They will be able to demonstrate the ability to rapidly understand and absorb new information and be able to identify significant problems and opportunities using consistent logic and objectivity in decision-making.
