Account Manager (Sales Rep)

 

Vivion, Inc., a regional distributor of raw ingredients to the food, nutrition, personal care and industrial markets, is seeking a Sales Representative in its San Carlos, California office.

 

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors degree in food science, nutrition, chemistry, biology, or any natural science.  The candidate may have several years of experience in one or more of the focus markets mentioned above.  Although a four year degree or previous sales experience is not required, candidates with strong technical credentials and industry specific knowledge is a plus.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to servicing and expanding sales to existing customers and new customers, new products, and new markets.  Some administrative duties include account and territory reviews, market intelligence, call reports and itineraries, month end reports, and responding to memo’s. Occasional overnight travel is required.
