Security Systems Designer

The Thomas Group is currently looking for a Security Systems Designer.

 

Responsibilities: Provides design/drafting services for Security Systems Engineering. Coordinates system layout and drawings with other disciplines. Posts addenda to construction contract documents.  Reviews and evaluates shop drawings and product submittals. Files project documents. Assists Security Systems Engineer in conducting Security Audits and Assessments. Assists Security Systems Engineer in solving design problems. Designs security systems, including calculations and cost estimating under the supervision of a Security Systems Engineer. Develops specifications under the supervision of a Security Systems Engineer. Participates in research for material and product selection. Visit construction sites to inspect work in progress or completed. 

 

 

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in related engineering field or an Associates degree in related field with a minimum of 2 years experience in security systems design.  Proficiency in AutoCAD.  EOE W/M/V/D
