Purpose As a Senior Analyst- Strategy you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities as well as developing strategic initiatives within the Property Development pyramid. The scope of work will include close collaboration with Business Intelligence, Continuous Improvement, PD Finance, PMO, and Support & Compliance teams. The Senior Analyst- Strategy will work with Directors and Vice-presidents within Property Development to identify strategic business opportunities, as well as to deliver recommendations.See Yourself: Developing business initiatives put forth by upper management, as well as promoting new insights based on his/her cross-department perspective and industry knowledge. Performing ad-hoc financial & statistical analyses to support initiatives under development. Developing key metrics and report requirements to monitor relevant aspects of the business. Managing benchmarking efforts with comparable organizations as well as industry trends on all aspects of the business (technology, process, costs, etc). Promoting consistent policies, processes and procedures for identifying, prioritizing and developing strategic business initiatives. Aligning projects developed for Property Development with broader corporate and PD goals. Preparing and presenting presentations and communications on new & proposed initiatives; appropriately conveying complex statistical, technical or financial concepts to a broad audience.REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Reports to Senior Manager, Strategy PSS. Works closely with other PSS teams, as well as senior leaders within the Property Development organization.JOB REQUIREMENTSMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree, B.A./B.S. 6-8 years business related experience 2-3 of Statistical and/or Financial Analysis Able to quickly build rapport, credibility, trust and respect with partners, as well as senior executives. Demonstrated ability to effectively synthesize & communicate complex quantitative or statistical concepts Detail-oriented, with ability to format & present data clearly and concisely Ability to present ideas to clients and influence without authority Possess a high level of initiative. Takes ownership of projects. High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
