Our client, an innovative and successful custom modular home builder, wants to add a Senior CAD Designer, experienced in residential construction, to its design group located in suburban Baltimore, Md.  The Senior CAD Designer will be responsible for clear, concise and accurate drawings using AutoCAD Architecture; improving the quality and productivity of home design; developing new productivity and quality tools for the design team to use; providing production and technical leadership to intermediate and entry level CAD designers; working with VP of Design to identify state-of-the-art tools; provide technical writing assistance to an initial Design Guideline document of drawing standards and processes.  When you join our client's design team you can expect to work with the latest technology, in a progressive, high performance environment, surrounded by top performers like yourself.

Experience:

·  The successful candidate could have a 4 year degree from an accredited school (a degree in architecture would be a plus) and 2-5 years of experience; Or, a 2 year degree from a technical school with 5-7 years of related experience and/or training; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·  Be a high energy, team player with experience in the design-to-build home building industry.

·  Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD Architecture design software, and 3D design experience.

·  Experience in a production environment is required.
