Senior Human Resources Generalist - Corporate

Functions as Human Resources Business Partner for AECOM Corporate groups (Information Technology, Finance and Accounting, Tax, Insurance, Compliance, Human Resources, Legal, Communications, and Procurement). Supports an internal client group of approximately 300 domestic U.S. employees in a Generalist capacity. Partners with management and employees at a tactical level in the areas of Recruitment, Affirmative Action, Employee Relations, Policies and Procedures administration, and Performance Management consultation and administration.
Job Scope
Works with appropriate Human Resources specialist groups in the areas of Training & Organizational Development, strategic Workforce Planning & Recruitment, HRIS, and Compensation design and administration.Essential Job Duties
Supports initiatives in the area of Workforce Planning, Recruitment, and Internship programs.
Participates in the development of specific HR infrastructure projects as needed.
Primary driver of AECOM Corporate Human Resources initiatives throughout internal client organizations.
Administers Performance Management program.Administers salary review program.
Counsels and coaches management and employees in the administration and interpretation of AECOM’s policies and procedures.
Administers and develops company policies and procedures. Administers disciplinary action policy and conducts employee relations investigations. Recommends viable solutions.
Responsible for Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements as applied to the corporate client group.
Responds to charges and works with Legal Department in the development of strategy to address specific employee issues.
Conducts conflict resolution meetings and facilitates positive outcomes on an as needed basis.Ensures compliance with state and federal labor laws as they relate to the corporate client groups.Recruits candidates for open positions on an as needed basis.Wide range of activities focusing on enhancing organizational performance, developing a competent and committed workforce, and building organizational capabilities that directly impact a business.Provide advice and policy counsel to line management and staffs. Utilize influence to achieve impact in tactical as well as strategic HR issues and opportunities.Works with other HR Specialists on an as needed basis to support client needs such as International Assignment Solutions, Benefits Administration, Retirement, and Health and Welfare.Knowledge
Full HR Generalist background with emphasis in employee relations.
Full cycle recruiting knowledge. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (Brass Ring preferred)
Performance Management/Evaluation facilitation and consultation skills
Knowledge of State and Federal labor laws
Administration of company Human Resources policies and procedures
Working knowledge of organizational structure and Organizational Development
Working knowledge of HRIS systems (Oracle preferred)
Investigative processes and conflict resolution experience necessary to resolve Employee Relations issues (including EEO and Sexual Harassment) in compliance with company policies and legal requirements

5-7 years of Human Resources Generalist experience in a large global organization.
New company start-up experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university. Master's Degree desirable.
PHR/SPHR certification preferredEOE.
