  Senior Interior Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handle 3 or more projects in different design phases
simultaneously

  Maintain our high standards for creative design

  Create, direct and meet project schedules and budgets

  Direct, assemble and make presentations

  Work directly with clients to meet project objectives

  Initiate client relationships and assist in proposal writing

  Coordinate and direct junior office staff and consultant team

  Coordinate with architecture team

  Assist with design and construction document production

  Direct, produce and coordinate specifications

  Direct and coordinate with vendors and fabricators

  Direct field visits during construction administration phase

  Coordinate and direct contractors and sub-contractors

  Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  5 to 10 years full-time experience

  Professional degree with ASID certification

  LEED accredited professionals given preference

  Proven design skills (portfolio required)

  Production track record (examples required)

  Strong communication skills - verbal and written

  Positive mature attitude

  Autocad 2007, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS Outlook 
and Photoshop 7

  Freehand drawing/sketching ability

  Ability to identify and nurture potential clients

 Non-smoker preferred
