Responsibilities: An exciting career opportunity exists in our Sarasota, FL Office for a Senior Scientist/Project Manager in our Environmental Management practice area. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in the assessment and permitting of environmental impacts associated with linear infrastructure projects and a proven track record of timely and effective project management. Desirable areas of expertise would include stream and wetland delineation and permitting, habitat assessments, and rare, threatened and endangered species assessments. Knowledge of FL regulations for the assessment and permitting of environmental impacts also desired. Knowledge and experience pertaining specifically to electric transmission lines would be strong assets. Skills or training in GIS would also be an asset. Qualifications: • A minimum of 5-years progressive experience in environmental impact assessment & permitting• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Ecology, Biology, or related field• Strong oral and written communication skills
