About the Opportunity
Senior Structural Project Manager will actively participate and also assist in overseeing functions of the Tampa Structural Department, including design, project management, supervising staff, client interaction, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and all other essential daily duties necessary to achieve structural department synergy and profitability.

This position will also involve supervision of staff when Managing Principal is absent and assist in directing the activities of the Structural Department's support staff in the development of uniform application and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications
• Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively deal with conflicts.
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven history of interfacing with clients and assisting in the marketing of future projects.
• Active PE License in Florida preferred.
• Should have at least 4-5 years of post registration experience in the following project types: office buildings, educational, municipal, retail, hospitality, healthcare, etc.
• Should have a strong foundation in structural engineering that includes development of plans and specifications for construction of new buildings and rehabilitation of existing buildings, cost estimates, bid assembly, and management of construction projects.
• Knowledge of Structural Design Application Software, such as STAAD, ADAPT, and RAMSTEEL. 
• Knowledge of general leadership concepts, team concepts, and principles.
• Ability to work with elected officials and fellow consultants in a professional manner that reflects well on the firm.
• Ability to supervise, coordinate, and review work of other engineers, designers, and CAD technicians to accomplish multiple project work assignments within the allotted schedule durations.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
• Ability to adapt to meet the needs of multiple clients and inter-office departments.
• Ability to prepare scope of services, staff hour estimates, and proposals with minimal involvement and/or assistance.
