Sr Architectural Project Manager

  Sr Architectural Project Manager / Orlando, FL We are seeking a candidate with 10+ years of experience in management of multi-disciplined architectural and engineering design projects engaged in the “Design-Build “of commercial, industrial or retail facilities. The ideal candidate will be licensed as either an Architect or Engineer. In this role, candidate will be charged with overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the project design team including client interface, determination of client needs, research applicable Codes and Ordinances, coordination and direction of design effort, preparation of contract documents, interfacing with permitting and other regulatory agencies, resolving scope/schedule change issues, maintaining adherence to contract requirements, and ultimately ensuring that the design effort is completed on time, on budget and at the highest level of quality. DOD and/or DOT experience a big plus but not required. Security clearance not required. Description: Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects such as buildings and manufacturing facilities by performing the following duties: 1. Prepares & modifies reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental studies, project designs & construction management tasks. 2. Plans & develops engineering projects concerned with unique problems. 3. Organizes & develops project team to execute phases. 4. Reviews project design for compliance with engineering principles. 5. Coordinates activities& technical development. 6. Evaluates & approves design changes. 7. Assures that project is completed within timeframe & budget. 8. Directs construction site, monitors progress to ensure conformance to engineering plans. 9. Coordinates & reviews the work of project engineers & technicians. Must be able to delegate & mentor 2-10 team members. * Position will be based out of our beautiful Orlando, FL office. Will consider relocation for qualified candidate. Requirements Education/Experience: Bachelor/MS engineering or architecture, min. 10+years project management. Licenses : Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer or Architect ( a must, no exceptions). Licensed State within South East region preferred.
