Store Design Associate

Title: Store Design Associate/Draftsperson

 

Overview: In house architect responsible for producing construction documents for a

retail company and to design retail projects.

 

Key Responsibilities: Assist in design development using computer assisted design software equipmentTranslate sketches into architectural sets and specification documents using AutoCADProduce drawings consistent with instructions, guidelines and standardsBe able to maintain schedules for various projects to meet deadlinesWork independently and in a team environment to produce quality architectural drawings.  Knowledge of detailing is a must.  Ability to read and develop architectural plans and design drawings, conceive design concepts and schematics  Ability to work effectively with management and other contact persons

 Qualifications:3-5 years work experience Architectural Degree or other design/drafting certificationWorking knowledge of AutoCAD 2004 or higher, Word, Excel, Outlook and Photoshop (preferred)
