We have an excellent opportunity, for an experienced sales professional, to promote McGraw-Hill Construction (MHC) products and solutions, such as Dodge, Sweets, Architectural Record, GreenSource, Engineering News Record and other MHC publications to national and international building product manufacturers. As a Strategic Accounts Manager (SAM), your primary responsibilities will be, but not limited to: * Develop in-depth relationships with senior sales, marketing and company executives at assigned accounts* Thoroughly assess customer go-to-market processes and gaps* Design and present integrated solutions drawing on all appropriate MHC products and services including Dodge Project News, Dodge Analytics, Custom Market Research, Sweets as well as print and online media advertising* Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales and growth goals through timely renewals and increased business* Provide management with timely and accurate reports, as required, and maintain Siebel database of contacts and opportunities* Coordinate effectively with all internal support resourcesRequirements:The selected applicant will satisfy the following qualifications:Bachelors Degree and equivalent industry experience 5+ years experience in solutions-based consultative sales Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to organize and manage a multi-state sales territory requiring extensive travel, all the while maintaining constant contact with accounts. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Windows applications and contact management softwareIndividuals with experience in selling customer relationship management(CRM) solutions and/or Sales Force Automation(SFA) solutions, are preferred.
