TranSystems –a leading national transportation firm – ranked in top 70 of ENR Top 500 firms, ranked in top 15 of ENR Top 50 Transportation firms, and ranked in top 15 of ENR Top 25 Bridge firms– having over 1500 employees and over 300 bridge engineers seeks a Senior Structural CADD Tech in its East Lansing, Michigan office.This is a challenging opportunity to become a key member of the Michigan office of a dynamic growing local and national firm. The position carries a compensation package of salary, and benefits, as well as ownership potential. The candidate should have 8 to 10 years Microstation experience in plan production and development for bridge/structures projects. MicroStation proficiency required. Geopak experience desirable. 3D CAD experience desirable. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is expected. Knowledge of MDOT and other public works project standards preferred. Candidate must be able to work from engineering sketches, descriptions, and calculations and ensure that project deliverables are checked and on time. Individual is flexible and may work with numerous project teams to help in project completion. Maintain neat and orderly work area that will allow access to project information for other team members. This position provides an excellent opportunity to interact with clients, manage the production of bridge contract documents, and perform engineering related tasks under the supervision of a professional engineer.5 - 10 yearsAdditional Information: Telecommute Percentage: 10%
