Structural Engineering Department Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Structural Engineering Department Supervisor for our Naperville office. This person will be involved in the design of buildings, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, medical complexes, educational facilities, churches, military, and governmental projects. Additionally, the position will include project management and marketing responsibilities. The candidate should:

- Have a Bachelor of Science degree (minimum) specializing in civil/building/structural engineering;
- Be a licensed professional engineer, or be willing to obtain licensure;
- Have several years experience in the structural design of commercial, health-care, educational and/or other similar facilities;
- Experience should include design of deep and shallow foundations; structural steel floor and roof framing; cast-in-place and precast concrete; masonry and wood framing; and coordination of structural elements with architectural drawings;
- Experience should include providing mark-ups to CAD staff to be drafted for inclusion in the Construction Documents;
- Have experience in the use of structural analysis and design software programs including Ramsteel and RISA 3-D;
- Have a working knowledge of AutoCAD.
