Technical Sales Representative/Engineer

San Diego/LA/Palm Springs Area

 

StormTrap, is an energetic and aggressive company that provides engineered precast concrete products for storm water management solutions. 

 

We have an immediate opening for a motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Sales Representative for the southern California area.  The responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to the following: 

 

*Manage the sales and growth of the territory.

*Forge strong relationships with a new and existing customer base.  This includes design engineers, municipal engineers, developers and contractors.

*Develop specifications and approvals.

*Identify projects through contacts and referrals. 

*Coordinate the handoff of new projects to inside sales. 

*Perform weekly sales presentations and attend trade shows.

*Provide technical information and support in preconstruction meetings.

*Coordinate and oversee installation process. 

 

The desired candidate will have a civil engineering/construction management degree. 

 

Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.

 

Experience in land development, municipal review, water resource engineering, construction management or technical sales is a benefit.

 

Must enjoy the benefits of travel.
