Job
The ideal candidate will be a seller/doer with 8 to 15 years of experience leading natural resources projects including field investigations, technical studies, environmental permitting, report preparation and agency permit negotiation activities.

Accountabilities
Project/task management and preparation of technical studies and documents including: FERC Resource Reports, wetland/waterbody delineation and jurisdictional determinations, natural resource inventories, T&E species consultation/studies, NEPA, CWA and state regulatory permits and approvals.
Client marketing/development, technical presentations, and proposal preparation activities.
Be a key contributor to the growth of AMEC’s natural resource practice.
Serve as a technical specialist/consultant for other natural resource projects.

Knowledge/Experience
Minimum BS in Biology/Ecology/Natural Resources or related field -MS preferred,
8 to 15 years experience in the ecological/natural resource studies,
Wetland delineation and jurisdictional determination experience,
Knowledge and experience in CWA 401, 404, 316(b), 303(d) and 312 regulations,
Experience in managing multi-task and multi-deadline projects required,
Knowledge and proficiency in GPS instrumentation and surveys,
Must be proficient in computer use including MS word, Excel and PowerPoint, and
GIS knowledge and proficiency a plus.
