Work Place Strategist-Program Manager

UGL Equis currently has an opening for a Work Place Strategist-Project Manager. The candidate will have tactical responsibility for the development and analysis of client requirements for projects of various sizes and complexity.  Further the candidate will provide documentation, oversight and management of the project requirements, planning and other factors influencing the project through the real estate process, and provide support of, or transition to UGL-Equis Project management or a 3rd party design partner.  The ideal candidate will have capabilities to perform the project or construction management activities as well as the workplace strategies.

 

A Strategist’s responsibilities include:

 

Developing and documenting user’s spatial requirements via developed processes and forms

Development and documentation of client’s organization

Development and documentation of client and user infrastructure requirements

Development of scenarios or strategies to maximize project goals and objectives

Development of the project plan and budget

Maintaining project schedule, budget and deliverables

Maintaining open communication with sponsor, steering committee and stakeholders 

Project team members have first line responsibility for completion of the tasks needed to produce the project deliverables.

 

In addition to completing the project tasks, project team members have other responsibilities, including:

 

Providing free and open discussion of ideas and information

Making recommendations, as appropriate

Testing assumptions and looking for alternatives solutions

Learning and practicing new tools and techniques

 Experience Level Required



5 - 10+ years related experience in Design, Construction or Facility management

Undergraduate degree in architecture, construction, engineering or related field
