Project Architect

 

Premier design firm with offices in NJ and NYC is actively looking for Project Architects to work on some of the most impressive high-rise condominium and urban redevelopment projects in the city.  Responsibilities will include design and construction document production, coordination with engineering disciplines, as well as experience with client meetings.

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors of Architecture, professional registration preferred but not required, and at least 5 years of experience.  The preferred candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an interest in sustainable deign. 

 

Project Manager

Healthcare, high education, mixed use, and casino/hospitality are some of the busiest sectors in NJ and the NY metropolitan area, and our client is nationally renowned for the design of these project types.  They are actively seeking architectural project managers to join their award winning staff. 

 

Responsibilities include management of the client and project teams on a daily basis, including attention to client satisfaction, work planning, scheduling, staffing, status of project deliverables, and project profitability. Candidates will also have the responsibility for quality control of project documents and design functionality.

 

Positions require 10 years experience and professional registration is highly preferred with a BS or Master of Architecture degree. NCARB certification is a plus. Good mentoring / delegation skills, strong organizational skills, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required. Candidates should have a track record of success in management of past projects of various size and complexity, with emphasis on motivating the project team and maintaining the client relationship.

 

Senior Design Architect


Premier Design firm in Philadelphia is seeking senior design architects for two regional offices (PA NJ). Candidates will work on numerous projects including educational /university, K-12, commercial, municipal, and urban redevelopment. Previous experience with high-rise condominium or hospitality would be a plus. Responsibilities include facilitating pre-design efforts, programming, conceptualization, and design on significant projects within the office and the firm.

 

Positions require 15 years experience and professional registration (preferred but not required) with a BS or Master of Architecture degree. Candidates should have a portfolio that demonstrates excellent design skills and proven problem solving abilities. Previous experience mentoring junior staff is beneficial and excellent verbal / written communication skills are essential. Expertise in architectural software or AutoCAD is required and experience with 3-D modeling is a plus.
