Requirements

Veyance Technologies Inc. is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Commercial Marketing department in Fairlawn, Ohio. as a Product Specialist to support the Conveyor Belt business.

Veyance Technologies, Inc. (formerly Goodyear Engineered Products Division) is a global business that markets, manufactures and distributes a variety of rubber products including hose, conveyor belts, power transmission belts and other products to a variety of customers across the industrial, OE, aftermarket and retail channels.


Department Description:
The Commercial Marketing group for Goodyear Engineered Products / Veyance Technologies, Inc. is responsible for increasing revenue and margin goals through strategic, sustainable, profitable growth by the delivery of effective and creative channel, product and pricing marketing programs and services.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Increase revenue and margin goals through strategic, sustainable, profitable growth. Develop plans to achieve assigned AOP objectives for revenue, margin, SAG and EBIT for assigned businesses and customer groups.

2. Determine channel needs. Capture VOC, market trends & potentials and develop into actionable items, marketing materials, programs, products & services to deliver value to the various channel participants.

3. Implement product specific channel programs and introduce complete product launches. Identify product opportunities and other customer needs in the targeted channel/market, create product offerings to address and deliver complete and profitable solutions.

4. Benchmark our value against competition - Discern the product and program offering of our major competitors and compare and/or contrast our program. Then use this information to tailor our program to deliver be the best value to our customers.

5. Direct Support for Field Sales such as waterfall improvement, joint calls, gap analysis & national contract analysis

Qualifications:
Required-
* Bachelors or higher level degree.
* 3 to 5 years of Sales or Marketing in Business to Business - 5+ years experience preferred.
* Knowledge of marketing concepts such as pricing, programs, promotion and products
* General knowledge of Six Sigma principles and practices
* General knowledge of mechanical principles and/or physics as it relates to our product applications.
* Willingness to travel domestically up to one working week at a time with possible international travel.
* The successful candidate will to be a change agent and team player, have sales and problem solving ability, analytical skills, negotiation skills, plus be accountable, proactive, and an effective communicator in both written and oral form.
* Proficiency Required Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Access and SAP.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead a team of direct reports as well as non-reporting functions..

Preferred-
* Bachelors degree in Business Management or a Technical field.
* Masters Degree.
