Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable Specialist

RV dealership located in Atlantic/Cape May County is looking for an Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable Specialist

 

Job duties include

Receiving and recording all payments, receipts and related transactions on a daily basis from all departments.   Processing and recording all credit card transactions daily.  Preparing and recording daily cash deposits.  Working with customers to reconcile any accounts and working with collection agencies, if necessary, to obtain overdue payments.  Approving credit applications by performing background checks and updating customer account information.   Preparing and dispersing monthly statements and invoices for customers.  Processing and recording accounts payable invoices and payment requests.  Reviewing invoices and payment requests to ensure company policies are being followed.  Preparing, recording and dispersing vendor payments in accordance with company policies.  Matching checks to invoices and payment requests after each check run cycle.  Maintaining the petty cash system.  Entering invoices; entering, posting and reconciling batches.  Researching and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors.  Finalizing title and registration applications for Department Motor Vehicle processing.  Processing of completed titles, registrations and plates received from the Department of Motor Vehicle.  Updating company files related to title and registration information and refunding excess fees charged to customers. 


Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.  Must have prior accounts receivable / accounts payable experience.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications or equivalent is expected. 

 

Prior motor vehicle experience / prior titling experience is a plus!!
