Auto Body Damage Appraiser

Eastern Auto Appraisers is a vehicle inspection service with a emphasis on off lease condition reports. We are located in New York and service the East Coast of the United States. We are in the midst of a major expansion and are looking for LICENSED INDEPENDENT ADJUSTERS to service our clients. They include insurance companies as well as lending institutions.

 

This is a home based position for an auto appraiser. You must live within 30 miles of your territory.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

evaluating, estimating and writing vehicle damage as required by our clients using approved software programs.

 

Possessing a Physical Damage software program is preferred but not required.

 

You must possess:

 Organizational skills  General knowledge of CSAA's policies and DOI regulations Comprehensive understanding of Physical Damage claims. Ability to express oneself effectively and a neat appearance is also required. A broad background in Physical Damage claims and estimating experience preferred. Two years in writing damage reports is preferred. BA/BS in business,insurance or related areas is preferred but not mandatory. You must live within 30 miles of a designated area or be willing to relocate.

 

Computer skills is required as well as a fax machine and digital camera.

 

This is a per diem position so your salary will be commensurate with your desire to earn.
