Automotive Receptionist/Cashier

Job Purpose:

Supports sales operations by welcoming visitors; preparing sales correspondence; completing special sales projects.Obtains payment for goods by itemizing and totaling customer's purchases.Duties:

* Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering requirements and information; establishing priorities.

* Welcomes visitors, potential customers by greeting and referring them to the appropriate person.

* Forwards sales information by answering the telephone, receiving faxes; recording and delivering messages; date-stamping documents; pickup, receiving, preparing, and delivering mail and packages.* Maintains security by screening visitors.* Presents a welcoming environment by keeping reception area neat and clean.

* Supports sales operations by preparing and maintaining temporary tags for customers.* Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.* Collects payments by accepting cash, check or charge payments from customers* Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and nontaxable items; operating a cash register.

* Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.

* Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

Telephone Skills, Written Communication, Verbal Communication, People Skills, Professionalism, Self-Confidence, Customer Focus, Multi-tasking, Customer Service, Administrative Writing Skills, Microsoft Office Skills, Attention to DetailDealership and Reynolds & Reynolds experience a plus.
