Business Development Associate

Exciting opportunity for participating in the creation of a brand new department in the fast-paced Auto Industry!  We have been in business for two years now and are expanding rapidly.  The Business Development Center is our next move and YOU can help and be a part of a rapidly expanding business. 

The main function of the Business Development Center (BDC) will be to create appointments and new business for the Sales Team.  The BDC will be looked as an appointment factory and eventually be in charge of all communications whether it be phone, email, or regular mail involved in creating new business opportunities.  The BDC Associate will work closely with the Sales Manager in creating new opportunities whether it be through new leads or previously unsold customers.  Also some routine followup with our current customer base will be involved.

 

Other responsibilities include:

 Management of Savage Suzuki Customer Relationship Management Tool. Utilizing different company internet tools to prospect customers through email. Assistance in the creation and execution of proprietary mail pieces directed to potential customers. Manage flow of traffic through appointment scheduling in conjunction with the Sales Manager.


Job Requirements

Little or no previous car sales experience preferred but not required.  Enthusiasm about cars and auto industry in general recommended. Prior experience in telemarketing or call center preferred. Good people skills, phone etiquette, and good writing skills. Must be computer savvy and completely knowledgeable with all Microsoft Office programs and Internet Explorer. Prior experience using a CRM a plus. Experience in management in a telemarketing setting helpful, but not required. Ability to work in an entrepreneurial setting in which you are accountable for success or failure. Great organization skills required and strong work ethic.


Compensation & Benefits

Pay plan will include a weekly salary paid every Friday. Earned commissions and other incentives will also be paid monthly. Full health benefit package will be provided with available Dental and Vision programs. 401(k) retirement plan
