The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company currently has an opening for a Business Financial Analyst at its' corporate headquarters in Akron, Ohio.

Department Description:
Finance- North American Tire Manufacturing

Primary Purpose of the Position:
This position requires an understanding of both financial and operational analysis related to manufacturing. The position is responsible for the collection and analysis of various business metrics, budgets, Annual Operating Plan, and the estimating and analysis of data.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
The development and continuous improvement of operational and financial analysis systems.

Provide operational analysis to help facilitate financially successful business operations.

Participate in the annual operating plan, weekly / monthly reporting and special projects as required. Support the development of the monthly Business Operations Meeting presentations.

Maintain existing production monitoring database systems and develop improved systems for tracking and analyzing key metrics. Assist in building manufacturing budgets.

Work closely with all members of the manufacturing leadership team, plant management and the financial team.

Qualifications:

Required-
* Bachelors or higher level Degree- Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* Minimum of two years in data analysis or reporting.
* Excellent computer and analytical skills, including the ability to develop, maintain and improve databases. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Access- Advanced Excel skill are necessary.
* Strong ability to analyze large amounts of information, understand business context and quantify and communicate results.
* Experience working in and leading cross functional teams.

Preferred-
* MBA
* 3 or more years experience in Accounting or Finance
* 3 or more years experience in Manufacturing
* Working knowledge of Essbase and SAP
