Collateral Protection Specialist - New England Area

Role summary· Responsible for monitoring the financial condition of the borrowing corporations, partnerships & sole proprietors as related to the repayment of loaned monies for the purpose of financing vehicles purchased for inventory; focusing the company's resources into areas that represent a moderate to significant risk of loss as determined through trend analysis & physical inspection; identifying areas of business, industry & management risk; analyzing financial statement information, including but not limited to, balance sheet & income statement analysis, cash cycle & seasonality & repayment behavior; & protection of vehicle inventories stored throughout North America. Role responsibilities· Monitor the financial condition of the borrowing corporations, partnerships & sole proprietors as related to the repayment of loaned monies for the purpose of financing vehicles purchased for inventory.· Focus the company's resources into areas that represent a moderate to significant risk of loss as determined through trend analysis & physical inspection.· Identify areas of business, industry & management risk.· Analyze financial statement information, including but not limited to, balance sheet & income statement analysis, cash cycle & seasonality & repayment behavior.· Responsible for protection of vehicle inventories stored throughout North America.EducationRequired· Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related area Specialized skills, knowledge or certifications unique to this roleRequired· Professional experience in automotive credit, retail, wholesale marketing or related area· Personal computer skills in the major office applications, i.e., Excel, Word, Focus, PowerPoint, Access, etc.· Entry skills in accounting & financial analysis· Familiarity with the measures of Corporate Liquidity, Capital Structure & Solvency Work flexibility (travel requirements, work schedule, etc.)· Ability to travel 50% or more· Future relocation flexibility
