Job Summary: This position will be resonsible for the day to day operation of the Service Department.Responsibilities:Responsibilities include managing all shop employees to include salary supervision, union technicians, parts professionals and office hourly.  The Service Manager is also responsible for managing and meeting all corporate and local objectives as they relate to the service business.Excellent performance in shop efficiency, productivity, employee morale, service score card metrics, customer service excellence and profitable service sales growth are all requirements of a successful Service Manager.  Directly oversee daily service operations Ensure world class customer service support Manage service processes related to service excellence Communicate and enforce all rules and requirements related to shop safety Help coordinate and oversee technician training schedules Oversee shop cleanliness and orderliness Maintain professional atmosphereEducation/Experience: · High school education required · Associates or Bachelors Degree, a plus or equivalent work related experience · Supervisory experience in automotive or service industry Skills and Abilities: · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Technical background including diesel engines preferred, but not required · Ability to multi-task, detail oriented · Customer Service focused · Must have the ability to handle stress and work in a fast paced environment · Knowledge of Windows based software · Ability to lead assigned shift with authority and respect · Ability to resolve conflicts with customers and employees · Basic electrical understanding · Basic diesel engine understanding Company: Cummins Bridgeway Location: Cincinnati, OH 45069 Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Company: Cummins Bridgeway Cummins Inc. has been named to the list of the Top 50 companies for diversity by DiversityInc.
