Detail Technician

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc., a leading distributor of heavy equipment in Tulsa, is seeking a detail technician for the rentals department. Detail technicians at Kirby-Smith wash and clean the exterior and interior of large construction equipment using power wash bay tools.Detail technicians must be able to know how to operate or be able to learn how to operate a variety of construction equipment to move around the equipment yard and in and our of the wash bay area. We require 6 months similar experience or exposure to construction equipment. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able and willing to work outside in all types of weather, able to read and follow written instructions, including checklists, and able to follow instructions and satisfactorily complete required tasks with minimum supervision. Must be physically able to stand and walk most of the day, must be physically able to climb up on to and down off of large, heavy construction equipment. Must have experience in construction equipment operation or be able to learn how to operate well enough and safely enough to move the equipment short distances.
