Diesel Truck Mechanic

Description: Astleford Idealease is affiliated with one of the largest and respected transportation companies in North America.  We are a quality provider of truck leasing and Sales for over 25 years with over 400 affiliate locations in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Astleford Idealease is seeking Diesel truck mechanics for our North Minneapolis Service Shop.



Our ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge of Medium and Heavy Diesel Repair and related components, and have a strong comment to customer service. Capable of Writing repair summaries.

 Responsibilities:

Providing service and maintenance on customers’ tractors and trailers Performing routine preventative maintenance inspections. Completing state and federal inspections. Diagnosing mechanical problems using, technical manuals, diagnostic equipment and experience. Performing necessary repairs on trucks as directed by the shop manager.



Qualifications include:

Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school or 2-5 years of related experience.

Ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers License.
