General Job Summary
The Field Account Representative is responsible for helping customers manage inventory and maximize online marketing efforts, transfer/upload collected automobile information to CDM online, and training the customers’ employee(s) on the proper and effective use of the AutoOffice® program. They will also maintain existing customer relationships and promote and cross-sell & up-sell other CDM products and services.
Physical Requirements:
Must be:
1) Able to perform activities that involve physical exertion
2) Able to lift up to approximately 25 (twenty-five) pounds
3) Able to get in and out of automobiles of various sizes and styles
4) Able to drive various styles and sizes of automobiles, both manual (stick shift) and automatic
5) Able to operate standard office equipment and enter basic data
6) Physically capable to work up to 8 hours of manual labor in a day
Job Responsibilities
Travels to/from customer locations and services customer accounts. Performs accurate input of automobile data in an efficient manner, takes photographs (including “staging” as required), and prepares (prints and applies as required) window stickers and buyer’s guides. Manages customer relationship to verify that the customer is satisfied with the level of service provided including frequency of visits and timeliness and accuracy of services, and to ensure a continued business relationship between the customer and CDM. Educates and trains customer staff on various CDM products and services, with extensive and detailed training on AutoOffice®, and promotes and cross sells all other CDM products and services on a regular basis. Utilizes productive thinking and self-discipline to develop and maintain effective route planning strategies in order to maximize time efficiencies and complete scheduled customer visits on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Achieves budgeted revenue per month and/or number of automobiles serviced; prepares all necessary and/or required reports as requested. Maintains the customer’s property in a well organized and professional manner and observe all of the customer’s policies and procedures.
Required Skills, Attributes & Education
High School diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in a customer service function, and a general knowledge of automobiles (makes, models, engines, accessories, etc.) or the ability to learn; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
