Fleet Maintenance Mechanic

Community Blood Centers of South Florida, one of the nation’s largest blood banking centers, is seeking and experienced Fleet Maintenance Mechanic for our Hialeah Maintenance facility.

 

This individual will be responsible for:

 

· Performing preventative maintenance and light line repairs on company vehicles.

· Assisting the Fleet Supervisor in maintaining accurate records and maintenance schedules.

· Keeping the work area clean and organized.

· Drive large Bluebird buses for road testing and transporting to and from repair shops.

 

 

To qualify, you must have:

 

· A minimum of 5 years experience (our fleet is comprised of mostly Chevrolet trucks and vans as well as Bluebird buses converted into Bloodmobiles).

· Own toolbox and basic hand tools.

· Ability to read/write/speak/understand English

· ASE certification helpful, but not required.

· CDL driver’s license helpful, but not required.

· Must be reliable and dependable.

· Must be able to work well with other people and support a team effort.
