T&G Management Services is part of Kärcher Group, a global leader in building and equipment maintenance.  We have over 35 years of experience providing service and after-market parts to the large retail store industry nationwide, repairing and supplying parts for floor cleaning and material handling equipment.  We are currently seeking a self-motivated, seasoned Forklift Mechanic to join our high caliber team of professionals in the Central/Northern New Jersey/New York areas. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Daily interaction with customers providing highest levels of service and productivity

Ø Recognizing and securing additional revenue opportunities

Ø Responsible for van inventory and accuracy

Ø Continuous responsive communication with dispatch call center to receive assignments and report status

Ø Responsible for safety of van and for assuring that regular vehicle maintenance checks are performed

Ø Daily completion and submission of documentation (work orders, parts replenishment, time sheets, etc.)

 

QUALIFICATIONS

ØMaintaining and repairing forklifts, some Floor Care equipment (scrubbers, burnishers & extractors) 

and Material Handling equipment (electric jacks & pallet jacks) 

ØBasic electromechnical knowledge; AC and DC circuit experience a plus

ØService experience a plus

ØGood oral and written communication skills

ØWorks well in a team atmosphere and independently

ØClean driving recordØ

Ø  High school diploma or equivalent

Ø  2 to 3 years electro-mechanical experience
