Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Engine Mechanic / Maintenance

Standard Gravel Company, an 80 year old family owned company operating  5 - 6 mining operations in Southern Louisiana and Mississippi is seeking a heavy equipment mechanic to repair our mining equipment.

 

Our equipment includes diesel engine power units up to 1000 horsepower, wheel loaders, bulldozers, tracked excavators, articulated haul trucks, high horsepower farm tractors, and a wide variety of the custom built equipment. 

 

Mechanics must be willing to work on a wide variety of equipment both in the field and in a shop atmosphere. 

 

 

The position is full time / career position that works rain or shine.  Typical work week is 60 hours.  Transportation may be provided for the right candidate. Health insurance, paid personal time, 401K and other beneifits are provided.
