Fleet Maintenance Manager - Sioux Falls, South Dakota  JOB3565

Waste and Recycling services company seeks an ambitious, experienced and motivated leader to manage the truck fleet maintenance team at their shop in Southern South Dakota.  We need someone with the leadership and people skills to turn this shop around. This Manager will have experience in heavy duty truck/equipment maintenance and repairs, follow-up, safety, equipment checks, and paperwork completion. 

 

The Fleet Maintenance Manager will work alongside and lead 8-10 Technicians and shop personnel and will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of a total of approximately 50 trucks.

 

Qualified candidates MUST possess:
At least 5 years experience managing a heavy truck/equipment maintenance facility.  Significant technical experience with heavy duty trucks/equipment and hydraulics is a MUST. 
**Waste industry experience is highly preferred* but is not required**

 

OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· Previous management experience with regard to the financial end of running a shop (budgets, P&L, etc)

· PC proficiency

· Strong organizational skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· One year supervisory experience

· Requires High School diploma.

 

It is strongly preferred that candidates possess a CDL license.

 

Salary:

Base salary of approx. $55-65k/year (DOE) + approx. 10% bonus.
