Maintenance Mechanic

We are in search of a Maintenance Mechanic

 Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service to machinery and facilities.Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machinesReads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceComply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.Employee is skilled in usage of hand tools, small power tools, and bench tools and proper machine shop practices.Employee is capable of using the arc, tig, mig welder and acetylene torch.Employee can maintain, set up, program, test operate and troubleshoot all check weighing equipment in the plant.Employee can maintain, troubleshoot and repair problems occurring with electrical control systems, PLC’s, VFD’s on equipment.Employee is able to identify parts needed for repairs in the parts manuals for specific equipment and assembles requisition for supervisor to orders parts.Be able to lift up to 75 lbs.Be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, as well as bend and stoopBea able to use a lift and work in high placesMust be able to work in the cold, heat, etc.Be team oriented and be willing to be part of a teamBe able to work all hours and shiftsMust be dependable for weekend work

 

 REQUIREMENTS:



·  High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational School

·  Technical training, familiar with food production equipment

·  5+ years of related experience in packing machines/production machines
