Merchandising Manager Replacement Products

Requirements

Veyance Technologies Inc. is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Goodyear Engineered Products Replacement Products Sales Division in the Salt Lake City, Utah area as a Merchandising Manager.

Veyance Technologies, Inc. (formerly Goodyear Engineered Products Division) is a global business that markets, manufactures and distributes a variety of rubber products including hose, conveyor belts, power transmission belts and other products to a variety of customers across the industrial, OE, aftermarket and retail channels.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop business partnership with existing customers, e.g. warehouse distributors, auto parts stores, installers, dealers, and garages to grow market share. Grow existing account base thru new lines (Hydraulic, timing, tensioner, airspring) where applicable.

2. Provide required service to warehouse distributors, jobbers and installers within assigned area, managing time and establishing priorities to ensure timely service.

3. Use business and information technology tools (e.g. Waterfall Analysis, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office Products, Word, Lotus Notes etc.) to improve overall management of sales territory.

4. Train customer's and distributor's sales force on new products, catalogues, order system, warranties, etc.

5. Mentor & train the Customer Reps assigned to the territory in regards to merchandising, new products & customer relations.

Qualifications:

Required-
* Associate's Degree or higher level of education
* Minimum of one year of merchandising / service work experience
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,)
* Time management and planning skills are a must
* Must be a Team Player
* Proven ability to Lead Customers
* Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
* High integrity
* Proven excellence in Customer Service

Preferred-
* Bachelors Degree - Preferably in Business or Technical Trade
