Motorcycle Service Technician

Job Purpose:

Services motorcycles, ATV's and personal watercraft by ascertaining and completing service requirements; maintaining customer rapport; maintaining service standards and records.



Duties:

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.



* Ascertains service requirements by listening to and clarifying customer's complaints and request's; conducting inspections; examining service schedules and records.



* Completes service requirements on a timely basis.



* Maintains customer rapport by answering questions and concerns; noting potential problems that need to be addressed.



* Maintains quality service by following service standards; conducting final inspection; correcting deficiencies; obtaining approval from customer.



* Maintains safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices.



* Documents services by completing records.



Skills/Qualifications:

Must have at least one year of motorcycle service experience. Must have knowledge of all motorcycle manufacturers including Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Harley Davidson. Must have all necessary toools to perform motorcycle service repairs
