Cummins Power South sells and services all Cummins products, offers service on all power generator makes, and delivers top-to-bottom RV Coach service at five certified Coach Care locations.  Cummins Power South strives to build trust through responsive customer support.  About the opportunity: Currently, we are recruiting for a Parts Clerk for our Orlando, FL Service Center.  This position is responsible for interacting directly with customers by performing a variety of duties in the service center parts department including retrieving part numbers, preparing purchase orders, and processing sales.    Core Responsibilities:  Retrieve part numbers from books, microfiche, electronic catalog and other computerized systems, as necessary. Identify customers’ parts requirements by part number and recommend additional products. Prepare and process purchase orders. Prepare counter billings (invoices). Process cash, check, and credit card sales. Requirements:  Must possess detailed knowledge of retail and parts department operations. Strong work ethic and high sense of motivation.  Competent knowledge of business software systems, such as Microsoft Office suite and Lotus Notes. Must support and reflect our practice of being customer-led and customer-focused. Excellent verbal communications skills and telephone etiquette. Detail-oriented with great follow-through. Ability to balance a heavy workload and work with limited supervision. Education and Experience:  High school diploma or equivalent required.  Minimum of 2 years experience in a parts department environment. Experience in or understanding of core identification and core processing.
