QA Contact Engineer

Requirements

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company currently has an opening for a QA Contact Engineer at its' Southfield, Michigan location.

Primary Purpose of the Position:
This role coordinates and directs OE account QA activities and Goodyear programs. The focus of this effort is to obtain customer approvals, satisfy customer requirements, respond to customer problems, and promote Goodyear quality image. These efforts will result in increased dollar sales.


Qualifications:
Required-
Bachelors or higher level degree.

Knowledge of basic tire design, manufacturing process, tire uniformity systems

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must have excellent working knowledge of statistical tools, analytical problem solving methods and knowledge of vehicle dynamics.

Preferred-
Minimum of 2 years tire manufacturing experience with an emphasis on quality and uniformity systems.
