Reynolds Solutions Specialist*Northern Orange County

Position Description:

Reynolds Solutions Specialist interacts daily with our customers in order to increase utilization operations, efficiency, dealer profits, and overall system use.  You will analyze software usage and provide feedback and solutions for ongoing and prospective business situations.  These situations may or may not be directly related to the Reynolds and Reynolds system.  In fact, you are both a system consultant and a business consultant in one!  You will not code or program.  This is a business liaison position which works with our education, installation, sales, and field service departments.  You are trained to consult on a full range of dealership activities, such as maximizing gross profits and minimizing department expenses.

 

You will provide on-site support to 30-60 customer dealerships. Some regions require up to 8 overnight travel days, while others may only require 1 night away from home.

 

After completing training, you will work from home, as our regional offices are in Houston and Dayton. We supply office equipment such as a laptop, blackberry, and printer/fax.  We also provide a company car to our remote consultants, along with gas and maintenance coverage, for a low weekly deduction.

 

Training:  The nature of the position requires you to successfully complete an intensive 6-month training program in Houston and Dayton.  If you are living in an area outside of Houston or Dayton, we will provide a corporate apartment during your training.  This is paid training.  The first part of your training will include both classroom training and online classes to educate you on our software, the dealership industry, and overall business operations.  In order to simulate a dealership environment, you will also participate in mock demonstrations and role-playing.

 

The second phase of training will take you from the classroom environment into the real-world through periodic training trips to participate in ride-alongs with your field supervisor or other experienced consultants.  The duration of trips will increase as you near the end of your 6-month training period.

 

Reynolds and Reynolds does not provide transportation during training.  You will need to make arrangements for personal transportation while you are in Houston and Dayton.  The corporate apartments are located across the street from our office.



 

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree is required0-7 years of experience preferredOutgoing and friendly personalityStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional dress (conservative suit) is required when at the customer site and in the office for training
