KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Experience developing sales plans to win new business including detailed customer targets

· Manage the commercial side of business acquisition from initial contact through contract award

· Leading a multi-discipline team through the quotation process to develop comprehensive proposals

· Research and analysis of various industrial market strategies and gather market intelligence

· Develop customer relationships increasing penetration and presence within key accounts

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· 5-10+ FRONT LINES SALES EXPERIENCE  for an Industrial products company, that customer designs and manufactures products.  Vs. a sales person who sells “off the shelf” products.

· Must be a ‘hunter’  vs. ‘farmer’

· MUST have worked with one or more of the following employers: Modine, Denso, AKG, API, Indiana Heat Transfer, Valeo, Niagara Cooling Products

· Experience with Heat Exchangers, preferably Aluminum Vacuum or CAB brazed.

· Experience selling to one or more of the following OEM equipment manufacturers: Caterpillar, Cummins, Oshkosh, International, Case New Holland, DDC/MTU, Freightliner Custom Chassis, Motor Coach Industries, Terez, Bell, Liebherr, Ingersoll-Rand, AGCO, JCB

· Experience with sales planning, developing targets and market strategies, competitive market analysis and commercial negotiations

· Willing to 60% travel of the time

·  Need to be a personable, team player, with excellent communication skills and computer competency in MS OFFICE
