SHOP SUPERVISOR

Scully Transportation Services, Inc., a well-respected leader in the transportation and rental/leasing industry is looking for a Salaried Supervisor for our Fontana and City of Industry, CA shops. In this role, the ideal candidate will lead by example and demonstrate integrity, sound judgment, and a customer-oriented attitude to help continue the rapid growth of this profitable branch. You will provide timely and cost efficient maintenance and support to our customer base, supervise and assign the repairs of all support personnel, and assist the Service Manager with day-to-day management of the facility.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
a. Conduct equipment & branch safety inspections
b. Manage basic troubleshooting
c. Supervise and schedule all repair inspection, troubleshooting and component replacement.
d. Account for all labor time with electric time keeping
e. Account for parts consumed on proper repair order line 100% time.
f. Conduct regular yard checks
g. Conduct physical inventory to include reconciliation
h. Account for 100% of warranty activity, file warranty claims
i. Close and approve internal repair orders
j. Coordinate with parts support personnel to effect timely re-supply of materials.
k. Operate Company Forklift
l. Conduct general clean up as required
m. Customer & branch communication
n. Safety Communication, Administration & Training
o. Service Link diagnosis
p. Conduct & coordinate Mobile Maintenance as required
q. Manage company sub units efficiently.
r. Ensure all rental transactions are “live” in the system.
s. Assist Branch in obtaining all profitability objectives.
t. Conduct company discipline as required.
u. Serve as Branch Service Manager in absence of the Service Manager.
v. Ensure strict adherence to Company Insurance SOP. Exceptions are to be approved by the CFM, DM or GM/VP.
w. Ensure rental contract file is maintained IAW SOP.
x. Comply with corporate audits of insurance compliance, documentation SOP and “live” transactions.

2. Position Requirements:
a. Class B Technical Experience
b. Physical Requirements as specified
c Strong Communication Skills (English oral and written skills)
d. Computer skills
e. Lead By Example
f. Ability to count, add and subtract

g. Valid Class A Driver’s License with clean MVR
h. Legible penmanship
i.  Reliable transportation

j. Safety Certification (Conducted first day of service, annually)
k. Fuel Island Certification (Conducted within initial 90 days, annually) l. Tire Certification (Conducted within initial 90 days, annually)
m. Forklift Certification (Conducted within initial 90 days, annually)
n Warranty Certification (Conducted within initial 90 days, annually)
o. PM certification (Conducted within initial 90 days, annually)
p. Obtain and maintain team 90% efficiency and 85% productivity rating.
q Conduct Weekly Safety Training
r. Conduct on site Mobile Maintenance as required
s. Become Scully Certified Leader within 12 months of employment.
